Job description

Want to make a difference? We are looking for a Hospital Accounts Care Specialist. You help save lives by maintaining and developing current hospital relationships with tissue referral accounts. Acting as the primary point of contact between the company and the hospital contacts, you'll help exceed existing tissue referral goals.

And we'll help you obtain your CTBS license with training and some financial help.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective and successful shared service provider relationships.
  • Maintain current contracts for all UTR referral sources.
  • Serve as secondary spokesperson and point of contact on behalf of UTR with media, community and hospital donor referral sources as needed.
  • Prepare periodic and special reports on referral activities.
  • When appropriate, collaborate with various internal departments to improve communication, processes, outcomes, customer service, policies, and system modifications as necessary for assigned group accounts.
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations and adhere to established quality practices while seeking to continually improve work performance.
  • Collaborate and implement recruiting strategies for tissue referral sources to be approved by management.
  • Execute those strategies to meet and exceed tissue referral goals within the assigned territory.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.


Skills, Education, & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years’ experience working in marketing or business communication, in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years account management preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Must be CTBS certified or be willing to test at next exam cycle after 1 year of employment.
  • Must exhibit professional conduct and demeanor at all times.
  • Must have excellent public speaking and communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to self-start, organize and prioritize under changing conditions, manages multiple projects, and handles stressful situations.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, some evenings and/or weekends as necessary.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Texas driver’s license, proof of insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
  • Spanish speaking a plus.
